VACANCY: SHEQ COORDINATOR NEEDED – DAR ES SALAAM

POSITION; SHEQ COORDINATOR – DAR ES SALAAM
REPORTING TO: Director – Human Resource and Administration

The job holder will be responsible for the overall coordination of all safety, Health, Environment and Quality activities for the company. This includes ensuring that the laid down policies and procedures related to SHEQ are effectively implemented as required by both local legislations and internationals standards

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Ensuring that the company is complying with all the statutory legislation related to SHEQ and defined international standards that relates to the company operations
•    In charge of the Safety Committee of the Head Office, Mbeya and Mwanza Branches and ensure that all the committees work according to the laid down procedures
•    Custodian of the company SHEQ policies and ensuring that the stated objectives are effectively achieved as per the timelines established
•    Any other duties as may be assigned by Management
Requirement of the position
Education, Qualification and Experience
•    Environmental Management Degree from a recognizable institution
•    Certification in Quality Management System is an added advantage
•    Over 2 years working experience in a manufacturing environment in similar position
•    Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili and Advance computer skills
